Cornwall Colourscape

When the sun comes out, once in a while, water of different shades of blue and turquoise, sheer cliffs and jagged granite outcrops, and weather-beaten but defiant stone cottages join in an uncharacteristically glorious display of colour. The coastline of Cornwall is a dramatic scenery filled with coves, sea-caves, free-standing rock columns and arches as the relentless sea crashes on unyielding rock. Further inland, in the vast expanse of Bodmin Moor, the sky forms a major part of the landscape, giving it mood and drama that change as quickly as the speed of the wind that gush across the rocks here. The same abandoned factory building was covered by clear blue skies in one minute and suddenly by thick clouds in the 10 minutes it took to walk behind it.
